Why choose ELEVATE?

It's not what you will get out of the program, but who you will become once you complete it.

Our approach to leadership development is both unique and transformational. We design immersive experiences where reflection, connection, and dialogue can occur. We work 'below the neck' and allow hearts and intuitions to compliment the cognitive side of the work. We commit to showing up, digging deeply into ourselves, and embracing discomfort. Because we know that through that work, we can grow stronger and lead better – together.

FAQ

  • I have to miss one of the live Zoom sessions. Can I still take the course?

Yes! We will have the Zoom content recorded and available only for program participants. We understand that things come up and conflicts happen. That being said, this program is designed to incorporate the benefit that 'real time' group learning provides, so if you know you have to miss more than one live session, perhaps take the course at a time that it works better in your schedule.

  • How much extra work is assigned and required?

This is a high-level course and there are some pre-reading, pre-work and 'assignments' between modules. We want you to have a strong blend of theory and practice, and we know that people learn in many different ways, so there are videos, podcasts, and readings on a variety of related leadership and management topics. We also believe in reflection, so you know we will have journal prompts and reflection questions throughout the program. That being said, this program is yours to make of it what YOU need. You might spend as little as 1 hour a week or as much as 5 hours.

  • Who are the faculty?

The program faculty is one of the best parts of ELEVATE. They have advanced degrees in leadership, special training in adult learning, and expertise in women and gender, mindfulness, groups and teams, equity, and inclusion. This group is diverse and fun! They are highly sought out coaches and leadership trainers and work all over the world. You are definitely learning from the best!

  • Is there financial assistance?

About the CONSCIOUS LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Transforming the way you live and lead

Housed in the School of Leadership and Education Sciences at the University of San Diego, The CLA brings an innovative approach to leadership development and training. We know leadership is not just a position, leadership is a practice. At The CLA, we believe that leadership can be taught and that people learn best by doing. We help people become transformative and conscious leaders who lead by example and inspire others to do the same. We have committed ourselves to creating programs that help people shift ways of being and doing in order to be more effective in their roles. Our goal in this work is to create spaces where everyone feels like they can show up as their true self, feel valued, and make an impact. We value and prioritize leading with equity and creating cultures of belonging. We want to build leaders who create positive disruptions in order to better their own lives and the organizations they work in.
